BioMinE will close the current gaps in our understanding on how to best apply biological processes for primary and secondary metal bearing
materials that are traditionally considered to be recalcitrant or economically not feasible to process.
The project will bring together the leading European and South African experts in microbiological research
relating to metals and the integration of this expertise will have a major impact on research in the EU in this field.
